We are aware of the growing concern around Coronavirus (COVID-19) and we are working hard to keep our customers and staff healthy. The health and safety of everyone is our number one priority.
We are closely following the advice and updates provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Government, Public Health England and NHS and briefing our team regularly.
We are currently in the ‘containment’ phase of the virus and most people can continue to go to work, school and public places. You only need to stay away from public places (self-isolate) if advised to by the NHS 111 coronavirus service or a medical professional.
We are reminding customers that the best way to protect yourself and others is to regularly wash your hands with soap and water but wanted to let you know of the extra steps that we are taking and ask you for your help.
We will ensure that there is enough soap available so that you can wash your hands throughout your visit. In areas where handwashing is not immediately available, we encourage you to use hand sanitiser which you will find available in the salon while we have stock. Please note that we are working with our suppliers to increase our stock when this becomes available with them.
We have increased cleaning of items that are commonly touched i.e. door handles, toilet flushes, card machine and equipment.
In summary, we ask politely that you:
· Keep your hands clean by washing regularly and thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or using hand sanitiser.
· Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch all coughs and sneezes and then dispose of the tissue immediately in the bins provided. Then wash your hands with soap and water, or use hand sanitiser.
· Please do not come to the salon if you are unwell and if unsure call the NHS 111 for more information. We ask that anyone who is concerned that they may have encountered the virus to follow the Government advice and self-isolate in the first instance.
The situation is changing on a daily basis, so for up-to-date information, please refer to the latest Government advice and also information through Public Health England and NHS England websites.
We will continue to provide regular updates and thank you for your co-operation.
