Team Hill Charitable Trust are the chosen charity partners of Darren Michael Hairdressing – Supporting People in Oldham and beyond

We are super proud to partner with and help raise funds for Team Hill Charitable Trust, we love being on Team Hill. They are a fairly new charity founded last August 2020 – by a very inspirational teacher called Steve Hill MBE. Over the past 10 years along with his various pupils he has raised well over £100,000 for a wide range of Charities.
Last year he had a vision to take his fund raising to a new level, thus Team Hill Charitable Trust was formed. The charity’s mantra is “Making A Difference” for the people of Oldham and for children in Uganda, a place very close to Steve’s heart. He has completed two Uganda Marathons and the time he has spent out there has been life changing.
We have made donations to various local causes – “Tilly Flop” for a back operation and we are helping to make a gym in the back garden of a little girl called “Olivia” who suffers from cerebral palsy amongst other things. We have visited the Children’s Ward at ROH – putting up wall vinyls to brighten up the wards and corridors.
We have collected Advent calendars, over 350, and donated them to the Foodbank and the Children’s Ward at the hospital. We have sent a donation out to Uganda to fund the construction of a roof on a newly built dormitory for the school children and a further donation to help them weather the Coronavirus which has hit them very hard. The money was used to purchase PPE for the clinic which we are also supporting
We hope we have managed to help make a difference in some small way to your lives during these difficult times. Maybe in the future you will be able to come along to one of our fundraising events and join TEAM HILL – our big happy family! You would be so welcome. Be safe and take care. After the 12 weeks of isolation is up, we hope you will consider us as friends and not strangers!!
